This is a general information site that details a Chinatown Bus services across the East Coast. The Philadelphia companies are 2000 Coach and Apex Bus. Routes go to N.Y., D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond, and elsewhere as more lines open up. A cheap way to get around but not as regular, reliable or perhaps safe as greyhound.

Google Maps – a terrific resource and you can see a satellite/map hybrid that lets you see basic building outlines and understand where you are going with streets drawn in on top of the satellite picture. A normal map is available too and you can use it to get step by step driving directions.
Walking Maps
Hopstop – a Map quest based program for people without a personal car or who like walking this site is coming soon to Philly and is available for New York, Boston, and D.C. already. Check out the site a sign up to be notified when it is up and running.
